I trained at Legat between 1974-81 and went on to dance professionally for 6 years on cruise ships, in casinos and resort hotels around the world.
When my dancing career finished I worked for Japan Airlines as cabin crew for 5 years before marrying and going travelling with my husband for a year on our BMW motorbikes, which we still have.
On returning from our travels we started up a Meditteranean food business specialising in olives and olive oil which is still going strong today.
I still dance in the form of an exercise class based on ballet which I do twice weekly and I get to tread the boards in the occasional play with our local amateur dramatic society.
I am very pleased to have been asked to join the RBS and hope I can be of some use as we plan the future of our society.
